I just returned from Nashville after doing a keynote and a couple workshops
for DBSA Tennessee’s 2017 Retreat. (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance)
I had one woman, Pam, who was in all my sessions. It is one of her LifeTOOLS
that I want to share with you today!
And it really is a life tool for her…
You see, Pam is blind and so her survival depends on this LifeTOOL:
I loved how if I spoke of something or when I didn’t because it was being
shown on a slide – Pam was there with a question for me.
It was an opportunity to realize and appreciate how important these three
little letters are: A S K
So the MOST important question is the one we ASK!
Here is my WordTool for it:
So what STOPS us from doing it?
So here are 2 ways to help get around that fear:
- You don’t know what you don’t know!
The only way to find out is to ASK!
- When you don’t ASK – you have a 100% chance of knowing the answer.
When you DO ASK – you have a 50% chance of knowing the answer.
So the odds are in our favor to ASK!
That last point I learned from Jack Canfield at a workshop I once did with
him and it has served me well over the years.
I hope in sharing this LifeTOOL – you too can be inspired by Pam just as I have and…
