When it feels like you have an endless to do list and you don’t know what to work on first, there is just one question you can ask yourself that can help with prioritizing.

I’ve been extra busy these past few weeks thanks to two giant snowstorms that rolled through and my 8 days without power!

I’m getting ready to shoot videos for my upcoming Stress Mastery course to be launched online in May.

The problem has been trying to get caught up on ALL the old things I couldn’t do during those 8 days, plus having new things which need to be taken care of!

I found myself using a LifeTOOL I hadn’t written about and want to share with you today.

This LifeTOOL can be especially helpful when you are feeling pulled in too many directions or when you simply have so many things to get done.

It all starts with asking this question:

“Is this the best use of my time RIGHT NOW?”

Now, I believe & teach that anytime we ask ourselves a question, it is best to do the asking AND the answering out loud!

So, as I was getting ready to put a load of laundry in the wash, write out my shopping list, and head out the door to go shopping, I paused…

I knew I still had several Action Sheets to get done for my course taping which I was doing the next day!

I asked myself the question:

“Is this the best use of my time RIGHT NOW?”

Want to know what my answer was?

NO!

All the things I was getting ready to do, instead of working on the Action Sheets, were things that could wait until taping was done the next day!

So I was able to STOP doing the “busy stuff” and focus on the thing which was the most important at that time.

Again, how to use this LifeTOOL is simply to pause and ask yourself:

“Is this the best use of my time RIGHT NOW?”

Let me know how this has helped you by leaving a comment below!
