Esperanza Hope To Cope: How To Stay Well When You Find Yourself In A STRESS AVALANCHE!

by Carol L. Rickard

Have you ever had times in your life where it seems like there is just one thing
after another going wrong?

This has been my life these past three days!

It all started Sunday night when my flight home from Atlanta was delayed
& I didn’t get to bed until 2:00am Monday when I had to get up at 6:00am…

That same Monday, as I was driving home from doing my Stress Mastery
workshop, the warning lights in my car started flashing…

Later Monday evening, checking my email, I realized at 5:30pm I was supposed
to be teaching a CPR class at 6:00pm that I’d not remembered about…

I live an hour away!

Then came Tuesday –

As I went to leave for another Stress Mastery workshop that morning, I learned
I’d left my car windows open overnight & it had rained…

Lastly, it was in the middle of doing my workshop, when I was about to
hand out door prizes, that I realized due to the rain chaos I’d left the bag at home…

I call times like this, when it all just seems to be one thing after another:

A Stress Avalanche!

My LifeTOOL in these situations is always The Serenity Prayer.

In fact, here’s my exact ‘in the moment stress version’. I will ask myself:

“Can I do anything about it RIGHT NOW?”

If I can, then I do what I CAN!

If I can’t – I let it go!

So, I want to share with you an action sheet I created for my patients to help
them be able to start using this powerful LifeTOOL in their lives.

Click here for the action sheet!

Once you get skilled at using it, you may find you can just ask yourself the
‘in the moment stress version’!

This amazing LifeTOOL is what can help you stay well in a “Stress Avalanche“!
